It is always evolving. You know that you never know everything, there’s always something new to discover or new to learn or a new gadget to start using 😀

Knowing that you’re looking at something that no one else has ever looked at before!

That it is so imperfectly perfect! We are always discovering more and more new things to develop and refine theories and understand the world around us. One day something can be a true fact, the next day new discoveries could be made which means it now may be wrong!

There is always more to learn… and we will only get there by testing out ideas, making mistakes and working together to find solutions.

      My two favourite science facts:
      – we know more about outer space than we do about the brain
      – the brain is the only thing that named itself…

My favorite part about science is discovering new species of infectious agents whether bacteria, parasites or viruses, which then sets the pace of how to deal with their threats to mankind

Learning something I didn’t know before, working with lots of interesting people, getting to do experiments/fun things in the lab (like designing/making my own electrical circuits), flexible working hours..
