I work at the British Geological Survey, a world-leading geoscience centre and the oldest national geological survey in the world.
I am a Remote Sensing Geoscientist which simply means that I analyse tens/hundreds of satellite images every day to identify ground motion phenomena, like landslides or volcanoes, not just in Great Britain but all over the world that can potentially threat people.

My day start usually at 9 am, after a short gym session.
First thing is checking all the emails I received overnight and try to reply them instantaneously.
Then, it starts the central part of the working day usually filled with meetings to attend, report or papers to write and the processing of satellite data which require a lot of programming skills.
