I suppose, given my role, it has to be Marie Curie. Her research into radioactivity was important in the development of x-ray equipment in medicine. She was the 1st woman to win a Nobel Prize & then went on to win another in a different subject (physics and chemistry). How inspiring is that?

I’m obsessed with gadgets and technology. I think the invention of smartphones are just amazing – you can do so many things, talk to anybody in the world, using a piece of metal and glass that fits in your pocket.
