So many things I love about my job it’s hard to know where to start.

      1. Teaching students and seeing someone who has struggled to learn to scan suddenly ‘getting it’s

      2. Making a diagnosis (finding the cause) when someone is in pain. It gives them a better chance of getting the best treatment, but also helps them to understand why they’ve been getting the pain.

      3. Seeing ex students doing well in their careers and doing amazing work. Makes me feel proud to have had just a small part in their development. 😍

I really love learning new things, and in particular learning something I didn’t think was possible in the universe. For example, in my first year at university someone showed me ferromagnetic fluids (a kind of oil with iron particles in it). When you put a magnet near it, the liquid suddenly turns into weird 3D shapes – it looks like a robot coming out of some metal good in a sci-fi movie. It completely blew my mind.

So glad to hear it! I love getting to be creative in my job. Coming up with new and creative ways to solve problems. I also really enjoy sharing the work I have done, which I like to do creatively as well!
