I mainly teach ultrasound or scan patients, so I study a lot about ultrasound so that I can make the right diagnoses. I spend a lot of my time studying how best to each people how to scan and learn, but also how to reduce the risk of work related injuries from scanning.

I study how cells move and behave on different surfaces. I do this by putting them on spiky surfaces and seeing what happens. If we can understand this better, then this might help us make better hip and knee implants, or understand other cells that move around the body (for example cancer cells).
