      Yes, definitely. The universe is so so so so big, I think that surely there must be other life out there.

      The only catch is that the further away we look, the further back in time we are looking. Therefore we are stuck in this strange situation that while life probably exists in some distant part of the universe, we may not be able to actually detect it yet.

      Putting it in a different way, if there was life on a planet around the star, Bellatrix (the third brightest star in Orion), and they were able to look at Earth they would see the dinosaurs. This is because Bellatrix is 243 million light years away – and the dinosaurs roamed the Earth 243 million years ago.

      This is just my opinion, but definitely! The universe is so big, so there’s plenty of places for life to have formed…
