After I finished studying at university, I decided to stay longer and study for a PhD, which is where you study one particular part of science in lots of detail.

The hardest part was when I had to write over 100-page report for my final exam… I had a long time to do it, but it was really hard to keep motivated to keep writing so much! But it was worth it in the end, because it helped me get my next job.

In education/work, probably my first year of university – it was SUCH a big change from A-Levels. There was just SO much work and content to learn and it just felt impossible. However, I perservered and I ended up with a good 2:1 in the end 😀 (that means I got between 60-70% marks in my degree).

In life, coping with the death of a close friend in 2017.
