• Question: what could happen if 2 stars collided?

      It’s not very common, but when it happens it depends on what type of star is was that collided. For example, when two neutron stars collide they give of gravitational waves. When two “normal” stars collide nothing really happens other than that they then suddenly have a lot more fuel available so that they can burn more brightly (we call these stars blue stragglers).
