• Question: if we evolved from apes how are there still apes now

      If there are snakes, why are there still lizards? 😀 🐍🦎
      More seriously, apes and humans evolved from monkeys and monkeys evolved into many different types of other monkeys too. Although the monkeys we see today are very different to the monkeys they originally evolved from, 10 million years ago. 🐒

      Hannah’s got this one. It’s not that humans replaced apes, but rather the animals we evolved from split into different groups, and those groups split into different groups and so on, and just one of those groups became humans.
