I live in Nairobi Kenya with my wife and my two daughters. My daughters are in preliminary grades and we play baseball over the weekend. I also do some speaking at my toastmasters club in Nairobi.

My typical day is not always uniform, However when I am in the field doing research around 400 km away from Nairobi in the western part of my country i start the day at 4:30 am and drive for 2 hours or less into to counties in the region sometimes to the slaughterhouses to conduct postmortem surveys, sometimes to get samples from dogs in homesteads and conduct interviews in homesteads as i seek to understand the normal relationships between farmers and their animals
